A mathematical model for the analysis of the dynamics of antibiotic resistance in a bacterial population.
In this paper we consider a mathematical model to describe the dynamics of a bacterial population overexposed to antibiotics (possibly mutagens). We use an approach based on bifurcation theory, in particular to analyze whether the equilibrium model is stable, when it exists, and to discuss its stability domain.
