I certainly have a lot fine to say about New Horizons

Yeah like I certainly have a lot fine to say about New Horizons, along with the games IMO certainly move the show forward in some meaningful ways. The 3DS assets certainly would not look nice simply being inserted into New Horizons as they are (even the ones at Pocket Camp would probably require some touching up). I'm not planning to say it's just like the entire Dexit scenario, but I really do think at times New Horizons might have benefitted from a little more polish before release.

Finally it is not the worst thing really; the game remains fun for me personally and the updates are becoming closer and closer to having feature parity with New Leaf. There's lots of little things here and there which I really miss from New Leaf (like for instance; Fireworks reveals raffle has adorable new fireworks items, but they did not bother bringing the cute Showa-era Nintendo toy furniture in New Leaf) but as a whole it is definitely still a fantastic game.

For me, my most wanted features are the return of old furniture. As nice as the things in New Horizons seem, I feel sometimes like that they wanted everything to look like a model home; scrutinizing in New Leaf felt far more personal and real and a bit less like building a pair for an Ikea catalog.

I have not managed to play frequently at all because I got a brand new job about two months ago, even before that I significantly slowed, mainly because of playing other games. Stay at home situations have probably had a big influence on the amount of people feeling bored with the sport, yeah.

Having said that reading through this thread highlights exactly how different some players pursuits in this sport are. I see some who desire"brand new gameplay" (I suppose activities and minigames), others that desire convenience improvements, and others who want upgrades/expansions on existing functions like the shop/museum, and others that want new furniture options etc..

I kind of wish the game had been given more time prior to launch so some of those features would have been on day one (so that every update didn't feel like playing catch-up to New Leaf). It's not like this is a poor entry, but in taking a look at the sheer number of items in New Leaf by contrast it can be a difficult pill to swallow.Yeah I only play it bit by bit, I don't know how my gf performs it as long as she does, but I am just happy she is gaming, I play it a bit at work, collect some shit sell it watch the shops if there's any clothing and I am pretty much done for the day.
